PSALMS ROAD TRIP: PSALM 2

PSALM 2: A FUTILE CONSPIRACY

Humans rebelled then as they still do today. Nations rebelled then as they still do today. This rebellion started in the garden and its ugly scar plowed through human history. Instead of learning from the past, people and nations still shake their fists at God in one form or another. Whenever and wherever the order, way and rule of God were questioned, it left a scar that only One could ever fix. He came to heal the scar of rebellion and did so on the cross of obedience. He’s the One we need to kiss before it’s too late. If rebellion against the King of Kings is futile, then bowing the knee to Him is the most rewarding thing that a human and a nation could ever do. Pray that hard hearts may soften, blind eyes may see and deaf ears may hear. Christ reigns and will not be dethroned, not then, not now, not ever. Resist it and die. Accept it and live. Kiss the Son and He will kiss you – Daan Botha
