Lord, You are a good, good Father. You protect us from our enemies (30:1) and when we are sick, You restore our health (30:2). But when we stray You discipline us too (30:5). But the discomfort of Your anger only lasts a night compared to a lifetime of “rinnah” (Hebrew for joy – literally meaning shouts of rejoicing. This is the same joy God has over us in Zeph 3:17).
Yehovah, the Eternal God, we ask forgiveness for the times we have angered you and we praise Your name for turning our mourning into dancing and joy!
